Hi

Am painting double doors and surrounding frame. The surrounding wall is papered. Is there a way of protecting this in lieu of masking tape?

Cheers

Hi,

Have you considered 'Frogtape delicate surface tape'?
I've found it really good for painted surfaces, and it states it's suitable for use on wallpaper.

Many thanks for speedy responses. Attached are images of job. Not the most complex, but don’t want to get paint on the wallpaper.

Rev”edges before faces”-thanks, heard that before. Is there a preferred order in doing edges, outside before inside etc? Also would you do the room side before the hall?

Thanks again

Do edges to paper first. Frames where door opens inwards should be done first then you can open door to do outer frame.
Do one edge with door shut then open door to do the rest. Once inner frame is done start the edges of the outer frame
