An extension piece that came with a used hose&trigger I recently purchased, although looking the same (as the other one I have) has different sized "lugs" ie it will connect too my existing K2 type triggers/extension but nothing I have can then, be connected onto it. Anybody able to throw some light on this for me please?

is it a different make and looking at the image has different size lugs
Which one is the Karcher model - the yellow insert ? (assumed as yellow is the brand colour)
Luckily we had a main Karcher dealer near where i used to live just outside Dorking , Surrey
and often i popped in there for spares for a few people , really helpful.

If its the larger lugs thats the different make , maybe they could be cut down to fit

Yes the yellow one is my original with the same sized lugs as all my other Karcher bits and bobs. The Black one is the one in question, it looks identical in all other aspects except its male and female lugs being smaller. I'll probably cut down the lugs on the water broom/patio cleaner head as that needs a permanent extension to work.

No markings on it, also I'm assuming my original one is a genuine Karcher.

Thanks for this, it makes some sense now. I'd seen adaptors listed but hadn't realised what they were for, I'd agree with you're thinking that one wouldn't be of use to me but good to know about.
