Hi guys.

This may sound like a silly question, but how do you use corner beads on larger angles than 90 degrees?

I have a 135 degree angle where i need to run a corner bead along the edge. I tried using a normal corner bead hoping it would open up and flex to the angle i needed however as i pushed it on it didnt open from the center fold, one of the thin edges just bent. This would have resulted in a fair thick layer of plaster as the solid edge around the center fold was about an extra 5mm high of the plaster board.

Thanks

Hi,

Could you just use a stop bead?
Maybe some scrim around the corner for a bit more reinforcement?
