Hi All. will be starting around March and will have only upstairs loo and sink. ( putting temporary shower in garden). will take me around 8 months, hopefully. When i start demolition, which will take me a while, i will have upstairs toilet until i come to remove the old brick inspection chamber, to be able to dig footings and drain runs.
Can anyone give me an idea of which order to do things, as it seems i will have a few days with no toilet at all. A temporary drain would suffice whilst i dug the real one, but im sure it would be in the way, and not have a fall. Drawing may help someone to point me in the right direction. Cheers. Have a good weekend.

might be an idea, old salt. where do i empty it, there are places on camp sites, but neighbours might see me putting it down the grid.

Nothing wrong emptying into the manhole.
That's where it would go if you used the toilet.

Camping loo would last a couple of days without emptying. You could take it to a public loo or as johnny said down the manhole.
When we did our bathroom we used the facilities in my motorhome, worked fine.

Put some temporary pipes in. It's nonsense planning work on the basis of not having a toilet, in fact that's not even planning.

thanks for all the replies. Ive took bits from all of you. I cant even get into back garden until old extension is removed, and on my own demolishing, getting rid, digging footings and drains, and laying drains, will take at least 2-3 weeks as i work full time. I think i can use a shed i was going to get rid of, and position it over where my final inspection chamber is going. Drop down into that, then i can do all the other works, including moving my soil pipe to my upstairs toilet , as it goes through the current extension roof. Cheers.
