What number of old bricks?
You can shove anything in the concrete you want, but it’s not really the way to go. But no doubt it will do the job.
How far down are you digging to put this ‘footing’ in?
Are you putting in two birds for every stone? It’ll takes ages to catch them

just a raised bed 2 courses high, wouldnt think its considered substantial?
would be bout 11m long 125mm deep and 200mm wide and maybe 10 bricks

digging down about 125mm and about 200mm wide and 11meters long. maybe about 10 bricks

oh so is that considered substantial and you would advise against it? ive got no ideaYou probably wouldn’t, until it falls apart.
