Danfoss Randell Type HSA3

hi
I just replaced mu 3 port valve with the above valve,
Wires are Blue,Orange,Grey, Brown/white,(4 wires),
(I have no wiring diagram)
When calling for heating, I get hot water,clearly I have 2 wires connected incorrectly .
My question is, Which wires have I got wrong.

for domestic hot water the valve is not powered, seems odd but power is sent to valve when you DON'T want DHW. Power to valve on white and from valve on orange and it grey powered valve will travel all the way.

What causes a problem is due to the resistors and diode in the valve you can get a reading when not powered enough to light a neon, so often needs a meter to work out faults.

Thanks for the replies,
Just to add I am using a nest thermostat Gen 3
Danfoss 3 way valve is connected thus Orange -#1 cylinder stat.Blue- Neutral. Grey #2 cylinder stat. Brown/White -#3 heat link (heating on)
I have the Heating stat wire unconnected at this time

Post pics of what you actually have, whey would you think that two wires in the same terminal on your cyl stat would do anything ?

All Y plan valves give hot water when no power is applied to the valve. The orange wire is the switched live when heating only is selected, but as it is feeding the boiler/pump on terminal, when hot water only is selected, the feed from the cylinder stat to the boiler will back feed to this wire.

I didn't say there are 2 wires connected to the same terminal

Somewhere in the circuitry there has to be some interconnection. You have 1 terminal on your boiler to take a switched live. This is fed by either the cylinder stat for HW, or the orange wire from the Y plan valve for heating. When the boiler is on for hot water, you will get backfeed up the orange wire but it will go nowhere as the switch in the valve is open. Likewise, when the boiler is switched by the heating controls, there will be a backfeed to the cylinder stat, but again back to an open switch.
