Does anyone have any suggestions for why my hallway feels so cold, near the front door. The door and side panel are only 3 years old and have attached photos to show how they sre fitted

Even with a radiator fitted its cold in the hallway compared, which makes upstairs cold too. Also get s fair bit of condensation on the inside of windows, so assume its all related. Wondered of any suggestions ? Thanks!

Any money the doors are nowhere near as well insulated as the hallway walls (more common with PVCu doors TBH). The old fashioned approach is to put a curtain rail across the door opening and hang afuul height, heavy, thick, insulated pair of curtains. At one time you could buy curtain rails which pivoted at one end, so the rail complete with curtains could be swung out of the way in the warmer weather. This actually does work

Edit: You can still get them - they are called "drapery arms" these days
