That has been a legal requirement for several days now, as a precaution. Nowt much wrong with reasonable precautions, if they avoid problems later for everyone, but no panic at all.

With respect HB, are you retired and living away from a centre of population? If you are, it must be bliss, but for most people, especially the working population and in schools panic and fear are on the inrease again. The fear industry is gearing up to make it a bumper Christmas for Amazon, for Pfizer, for corrupt politicians and union officials everywhere, and, of course, for those "able to work from home".

Notch has seen no change whatsoever in recent days because he never stopped panicking anyway; it's normality to him.

JP you are correct that the papers are instrumental in spreading fear (it sells!) but don't forget the BBC, a major player in the new totalitarianism.
