Instant hot water tap for bathroom

I wonder what's considered acceptable these days? I think I'm spoilt as I have good water pressure and an unvented. All my new basins are run in 10mm plastic radials, the longest run is a convoluted 8m but I get scalding hot water in less than 6 seconds at about 7 L/min, there is a bit of noise but not excessive. I'm doing a new bathroom upstairs, with the basin tap less than 3m from the cylinder - I'm hoping it will be near instant.

Were it not for the fact that we're having a triple diverter for the bath/shower I was tempted to run 10mm to the shower valve as we restrict flow to less than 10L/min to save water.

Ah, that’s really interesting and good to know, thanks

Crikey, that's something to think about. My kitchen tap flow is a bit pants. I always thought it was the lack of a pump......
