To complement my new T5 router.....

That's a good saving, let us know how the table works in practice, there are very few hands on reviews of router tables out there.

And if you are looking for a supplier of good cutters, mostly next day by post, take a look at Wealden Tool - far better quality than cheaper Chinese junk

I have the old Elu version of the same thing - a 600mm jig - and it is a big tool that you need a workbench to support. I think I've used the full width of mine maybe twice in 20-odd years (for toy boxes). The rest of the time it's been used on stuff like drawer boxes, etc which never exceed 150mm. Trend do make a smaller 300mm version as well which is quite a bit cheaper. Are they worth it? They are certainly better made than the cheap Chinese ones which often utilise a bearing guided bit (the Trend and similar models use a separate guide bush mounted on the base of the router). The only thing I will say is that any jig cut dovetail has a bit of a "machine made" look, but they still look good enough to me

The T5 will take the Trend guide bushes directly without the need for a additional sub-base.

Went for the 300mm version. Didn't realise they did one that size but seems perfect for what I will use it for. Machine look doesn't bother me as it will be for personal use only. Thanks once again.
