What is the professional "PTFE"

We use loctite 55 but we still do a fair bit of screwed steel work where if you use ptfe you can't back it.
Also never seen a rad tail leak using 55 can't say that about ptfe.
I find with some cheap radiator brands from screwfix and toolstation and the like , the tails need massive amounts of PTFE, the thread tappings just seem to be slightly larger, I think the liquid stuff alone would struggle

Do you ever mix tape/thread with jointing compound? Whatever they have used on the shower valves look like a mixture of thread like material and liquid/putty.

It looks very robust, I am just curious what it would be

And plaster should go on everything except the wall or the ceiling you are actually working on
I use to use a plasterer on my jobs who was very reluctant to use dustsheets etc. When I commented on this (ultimately, I would have been responsible for damage) he said that his plaster goes the walls, not the carpet. It made me cringe, bit i never got any blowback. I just thought it was a bit arrogant, and customers like t see their Axminster protected

Are they the ones that wash the buckets out in the brand new bath??:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I have worked in a couple of houses where the numpty tilers have used the customer's sink/basin to wash their grouting sponges. It has only become apparent when the grout has blocked the u bend and pipes.

Another plaster I used caused my client to complss as in. He had washed his kit and buckets over their garden border plants. I mentioned it to I him, and he asked wether they would prefer it poured down the drain. Which was fair enough, but he could have do it a bit more discretely
