Rads on when not supposed to be

I've gone into the installer mode but can't see the Room Control Mod you mention. Is it under another name?
Not according to the manual. Looks like it should be under Menu, Settings, Installer level, installation configuration. Page 10 of the manual.
Others are correct- you'll need the installers back to sort the reverse circulation problem. A thought for you and them- the cheapest and least disruptive way out of that problem may be to fit WiFi or similar TRVs to all radiators (Vaillant have their Ambisense range, check with them but they ought to coexist with the Sensohome). Of course these things aren't free and of course the builder should cover the cost if he can't rectify the reverse circ problem properly any other way.
Did the builders son complete the commissioning info on the boiler?- if yes then you could wave Gas Safe at him as a threat if he can't or won't fix the problems

Just spoke to original installer. He said it 100% isn't reverse circulation as they came out and altered pipework to ensure that didn't happen. I then mentioned the motorized valve test I had done and he said it could be a valve fault but then it's a wiring issue and not to do with him. The builder's electrician did all the wiring so he said we have to call him to fix it.

Since several of you mentioned the electric being too close to the boiler I did some checking of the electrician. His name does not appear on an competent register and the certificate for his work has been signed off by someone totally different from a company that have never been here to view the work. Based on this I am concerned. Should I still call the builder or should I call another electrician to look and can any electrician deal with boilers?

Your installer is being a bit naughty there. The electrician might have run the cables in but the installer should have made final connections to the appliances and tested functionality as part of installing and commissioning the boiler.
No not all electricians will be familiar with faultfinding on a heating system that has never worked properly

I would call the builder back, as I said previously, your contract is with him. It might not be a wiring fault and could be a duff valve on the water side.
