European Commission of Human Rights

Exactly the answer I expected from you because you got the answer you expected from me.

It's always the way out of loosing an argument.

I want a human rights organisation that protects the good people of this world from the bad people of this world.

That's all I want
Then you're a fool.

Human rights are there to defend all people against unjust treatment from individuals, companies or government. Even if a person is 'bad' it doesn't mean they don't have rights.

PS. Center aligning your last sentence makes you look pretentious

Fyodor Dostoyevsky — 'A society should be judged not by how it treats its outstanding citizens but by how it treats its criminals.'

He literally wrote the book on Crime and Punishment.

As far as the ECHR is concerned, the (potentially) bad people are the individual governments.
The bad people that you refer to are subject to the domestic courts and laws.

If you think you've won the argument because you can't be bothered to read the 40 page pamphlet, no wonder you did so well educationally.

You're right not to read a 40 page pamphlet, you obviously have difficulty with a four line comment.

And benefits cheats, drivers who use their phones behind the wheel, certain prime ministers and other criminals.

If you think only 'good' people need their rights defending then you're missing the point.

I don't think I could ever win an argument with anyone who see pedophiles and rapists as equals.

You win

People who throw the rubbish out the car window and those who claimed thousands£££'s in bounce back loans then go bust.
Wife bathers
Burgerlers
cowboy builders
I

them
all.

I certainly would not defend them .

You win as well

Either everyone has rights or no one does. Because if they aren't universal then they can be taken away and whoever the dominant ruling party wants can have their rights stripped away.

So they must apply even to the worst in society, so that they wont be eroded to the point where they no longer protect you.

It was a bit of luck Hitler committed suicide then wasn't it.

It would be entirely possible to leave and keep all the good bits. At the end of the day we have a human rights act and a judicial system that doesn't fear p**ing off government
Considering this right wing populist govt is constantly stretching its powers and reducing parliaments and the courts ability to scrutinise the executive, the British public should not and cannot trust them to erode our freedoms.

Why do you think they want a bonfire of regulations?
Why do you think the want chartER cities and freeports

This government are a grave menace to the citizens of this country.

Typical really, I go Dostoyevsky and you go Godwin.

So if a spectator at a football match racially abuses a black player; you think they shouldn't be banned for life from entering that ground again?
Or let's say beats up an an opposing fan just for wearing an Arsenal shirt?

Hardly needs a UCHR.
