Hi folks
I'm upgrading the radiator in my kitchen.
Due to a lack of wall space I'm looking at a vertical triple column radiator, with a BTU over the required value I've calculated.
The size of the kitchen is 4.6m long x 3.3m wide x 2.75m high (42 cubic metres). The house is a 19th century stone cottage in a semi rural location so not exactly winning any heat efficiency awards.
My question is will such a radiator circulate the required heat around the room? I've heard they don't work as well as horizontal radiators in that respect.
Should I instead be looking (somehow) to install two radiators? I'm happy for second or both can be regular type 22s.
Many thanks
Tim
