I posted on here about a month ago and had some really helpful replies.
Had a new boiler fitted which started losing pressure. Had the installer back who confirmed installation was ok. Biaisi also confirmed that there was nothing wrong with the boiler. Was told that the only other explanation was a leaking pipe (which are embedded in concrete). Luckily, I have trace and access insurance. Sure enough, a leak was detected and is being fixed on Friday.
Pressure is ok when the heating is on. When heating turns off, I lose pressure. I understand that this is due to the pipes contracting when cold and therefore exposing the leak. I have therefore been opening the filing loop to re-pressurise the boiler as and when necessary. When I first started doing this, the system re-pressurised pretty quickly (within a minute or so). However, it now takes at least 10 mins for it to crawl to about 1. Will this be resolved once the pipe is fixed on Friday, or do I have another problem?
Many thanks
Many thanks
