whats the law on fitting a second hand rayburn gas range without M.I(conventional flue)

CORGI will say that it has to be in good condition AND you have the MI AND of course you have the ACS for ranges!

I wonder what happened to that poor fellow who got into difficulties when he fitted a range out of scope? Apart from the difficulty with CORGI the customer sued him too.

No!

Thats what started that poor fellow off on the wrong foot. He had not heard that they had introduced a new ACS category of ranges.

For a long time it was not clear and I even became worried when I fitted larger cookers.

It now seems that the difference is now that a range is a range if it has a flue!

Agile you are correct you have to have CKHB1 to work on any Aga / Rayburn / Stanley / Alpha ect......
