My daughter has just moved into a new (old) house where the bathroom sink cold tap id turned on and off by using a screwdriving to turn the in-line valve on and off, the tap itself just rotates and dowesnt operate, I s this a new tap job, or is it possible to mend it, many thanks, as I feel this is going to be the first of many jobs for me !!!

Thanks, yes i think i will, the first splash of many, shes just phoned to say shower door has fallen off
