I have just returned from my holiday and noticed my washer is working fine until it gets to the spin cycle and it sounds like a fireing range with all the banging. I have had a look and spun it whilst it is empty and cannot see anything that maybe causing a problem. Any ideas what to do next????

when you span it by hand was it noisey (you only mentioned see)

No spinning it by hand does not create any noise and its only when its fast spinning the noise begins.

you may have a coin stuck between inner and outer tubs, easiest way is to take pump off and shake mc towards pump

depends how strong you are.

you tip m/c back (need to be strong, or better still 2 people)

i used to do it when i worked for hp, takes about 15 minutes, and i cheated, but what / how i did it was dodgy (but i knew what to do and more to the point what not to do)

Is there a step by step guide to what i need to do as it all sounds french to me?????
Also i took an extended warranty out on this machine but if it is a coin will that be covered or will it be classed as my fault????

Faults due to coins are not normally damaged as the machines were not intended for laundering money.

Remove top and check top weight is not loose, common fault on this appliance.
