I intend to look at with a view to buy, a clean low millage 2013 Fiat Punto van, it has the 1.3 Multi jet engine.
Any common issues to look for on the Engine ? Has it a cam belt or chain ?

It has a timing chain......listen for any particular noises, the engine should be nice and quiet!
Reduce the service interval to 10k or less, using a quality oil and filter.

Injector chuffing can be an issue. Look for signs and sounds of it. Oily clag on top of head etc
