A bandsaw will follow the curve and not wander outwards unlike a jigsaw. Hardest part is keeping the work supported on the angled bandsaw table if the bits of board are large. You won't need a assive one as MDF cuts quite easily on a bandsaw, throat depth will more likely be the deciding factor on size.

How tight a curve are you after and what sort of angles, are they repettative shapes (possible with template & routeron the 25mm) or are they all different.

hi jason

curves wont be too tight and only some will be repetitive but any suggestions for making a bandsaw jig would be really helpful - were you going to suggest a spindle moulder for this or got any other clever ideas?

cheers again

Tilting spindle moulder with a TCT profiling block would be ideal if you had one, but would need a template for each shape. Or farm it out to someone with a CNC router.

There is no need for a jig on a bandsaw just cut close to the line and finish with a disc sander with the table set to your angle. or freehand with a belt sander.
