My trusty old Armitage Shanks toilet is showing signs of wear on the internal bowl area. The surface of the china is rough and becoming harder to clean. The problem I have is that the original wc has a 90 degree outlet to the left which connects to the soil pipe. All the new wc bowls in the shops have a straight outlet.

There is no room to fit a 90 degree bend to the new bowl without the bowl coming too far from the wall.

Does anyone know of a wc maker that does a bowl with 90 degree bend outlet. :?:

Just buy a new craapper - its much simpler.

Hope this helps!

Just buy a new crapper?

I thought my original post implied that I want to buy a new one. But one with a 90 degree bend instead of a straight outlet.

Words mean many things to many people. :?: :?: :?:

go to your local plumbers merchant "s" trap pans are still availible

As a cheap and practical alternative, buy a macerator and plumb into bath/hand-basin waste outlet. You can then do away with the old toilet waste altogether.

Hope this helps!
