Hello All,
I am about to start work on painting my new plaster in my extension.
I have looked at lots of posts regarding mist coats.
Would Crown White Matt Emulsion be ok watered down as the mist coat?
I have looked on the pot, and it doesn't mention vinyl anywhere.
The instructions say to water down no more than 20%. My plasterer mentioned 50%.
I am wondering what happens if you water down too much, or not enough?
I have watered down a sample of the paint to 20% and it still has a consistency that is a little like yogurt. (without the fruit)
I'm not sure if it still seems a bit thick to use??
Any advice on my crown paint & thinning guidelines would be great.
I want to ensure I get this right first time.
many thanks,
Alex.
