I'm having a combi boiler installed in my new house and want it positioned where a small window currently is. Will I have to take out the whole window frame and get the gap bricked up or is there some other material that can be put in the window frame in place of the glass which the boiler then can go on?

As long as you can get a secure fixing for the boiler you can fill it in with timber and plasterboard on the inside.

The regs dont allow the flue terminal to be within 150mm of an opening in the fabric of the building eg.window frame etc. So you will probably have to brick up the opening on the outside at least.
