I am fitting wall cabinets in a masonry wall (brick coated with 10mm or so of plaster). Can anyone advise me what would be the most suitable fixings

Only problem I foresee is that the inner leaf of the wall cavity construction is wimpey no fines which I feel may make it difficult to get a fixing with any of these methods, any other suggestions.

Drill test hole to find out what state the concrete is in.

Good crete - method stated earlier will work.

Not so good - Mungo frame fixings 80mm - www.acefixings.com

Craaaap - resin anchors - take your pick they're all expensive.

Good luck. ;)
