Bosch Dishwasher will not drain water.

As mentioned in title, this was working ok until i opened the door to find it still full of water. No water will drain from the waste pipe into the drain. I've taken a cover off underneath the filters which shows a propeller looking piece of kit. I presume this pumps the water out into the waste???
Any ideas?? Can it be fixed??

Would you please supply model with 2no's @the end, could be just a jammed pump which is easy to fix this may be in your instruction manual
