can i put isolating valvies just before copper cylinder?

can i put isolating valvies just before copper cylinder?
just for a way to turn it off if it leaks?
any tips for changing a vented indirect cylinder? got old out.

that was quick,it didnt have any on before.so it needs a 22mm on the cold feed? what about the draw off on the top etc?
will isolating valves not slow flow down?

You can use full flow lever ball valve on the cold feed but nothing on the top
 
Drain the water in the storage tank, perhaps :LOL:

Cut the pipe and do the nuts up.

the valve should be above the height of the cylinder
