Honeywell ST6400C Programmer

ok i've just fitted a honeywell s plan system.

The problem is when you select the heating to come on only, i.e the hot water selector is in the 'off' position, both the l.e.d's come on for hot water and heating?? and the same happens when you select hot water only. whatever you select, or set the timer too, both hw and ch come on??

i've triple checked the wiring, and tried the programmer with just the live and neutral wired in (just to power programmer), so is it a faulty programmer?

I seem to recall that they get confused if you change the day mode and don't perform a full reset.

What method did you use to reset it?

As per simond's implication, is this brand new, and where did you get it?

to reset it I just pressed the reset button!

yes bought of ebay

advertised as new.

ok recieved new programmer today. Everything works as it should now!

the ST9400c is much better than the ST6400c too!!
