Electric Boilers !! Question for the Pros !!

How about air to air heat pumps.. Dearer initially but a whole lot cheaper to run and the customer can be air conditioned in the Summer too.. for water either a straight electric immersion heater or an air to water heat pump with electric back up

GAH, OSO and ACV also have suitable products for this application.

3 phase would be about 55A / phase

How does 23kW work out at 55A per phase on a 3p supply?

i've done loads of work in new build flats and it appears the way the builders go when gas isn't an option is Gledhill pulsa coil A class and dimplex on the wall heaters. all electric. cheap on install, expensive to run but thats the way house builders like it.

Although Heatrae did have a problem with the pcb, it has now been resolved.

On a training day I had there and factory visit, they openly admitted there HAD been problems.

I've only fitted one before and it cost me £4000 in legal fees etc

Make sure whoever wants them fitted signs a waiver acknowledging how much they will cost to run ;)

was that the electromax ??

Im liking the look of the electromax but need to find out if there is room for em in these flats !!

I'd go with the electromax units.

You need space above for the expn vessel

I think Ill be putting the Electromax forward for the project but I need to know the actual full height with the EXP Vessel and the width as Im sure they will have to adapt the door for the cupboard it will be going in ..
