The engines thrust will still outweigh the wheels turning, the conveyor turning, etc. I can't see what other angle there is, Softus ........ :confused:

What they can't get into their heads is, the difference between what was said and what is possible, or impossible.

I understand his point perfectly but to agree to what he is saying you would need to re-arrange the original question.

Oh, and by the way, the winch will pull the "object" forward, regardless of wheel speed,etc.

the point i was trying to make is that the wheels and their relationship with the belt, cannot, on their own restrict forward movement.

if you added a force that countered the winch or (ref the other post) the engine's action with the air, then maybe.

doitall repeatedly assumed that the moving conveyor alone would be enough to counter the engines thrust. wrong.

whether his later posts seek to steer around his earlier glaring mistakes, then maybe this is an admission that he has finally understood.

You don't need to know the wheel speed, land speed is measured between the contact point of two surfaces, if one is going the opposite way then one or the other has to go faster, in this case if you drag the object forward it must be going faster than the surface

I assumed no such thing. I said the plane will not take off, and I'll say it again, if you stick to the OPs post the plane will not take off
