can you lay a screed directly on to the thermal sheets (ecotherm)
i am in the process of laying the floor in my extension,
its an L shaped floor lay out from front to back its 45 feet 10 feet
and side to side 18 feet by 10 feet, the original garage floor form part of the new extension, the plan was to bring the new floor to the level of the existing garage floor ( 4" hard core wacker plated, 2 inches of sand wackerplated, dpm and then 6" of concrete) on top of this is the thermal block (ECOTHERM) another DPM and to bring it up to the level of the
housefloor once knock through requires another 4", can i make this up with a 4" screed!

yes you can.

i'm not a fan of screeding directly onto insulation but i concede that 4" is deep enough to deal with direct application.

fill yer boots. ;)
