Hi All.
W need to remove two living room radiators whilst we are having the walls skimmed.
We have a combi boiler so the system is pressurised . How should it be done?

Thanks
Andy

Close both valves (thermostatic + Lockshield) at either end of the radiator, use a drain kit bought from B&Q or similar to drain the rad, disconnect the couplings and lift it off the wall.
Instructions on how to use the drain kit come with it and it is all pretty straight forward.

Thanks esra_ptrap

Do i need to de-preasurise the system somehow first? It's a combination boiler.

Thanks
Andy

No, closing the valves seals the system ... Make sue nobody opens either of them whilst the rad ain't connected though

Oh - just one more thing.
When i replace the radiators, do i need to re-preasurise the system?
I have added preasure to the system before, when we first had it installed.

Thanks
Andy
