Help with the order of papering in to a arch [with pic]

Hi Guys. I wish to paper in to the arch with lining paper which will be painted,But I am having trouble deciding the order of papering.How should I tackle it?

Theres a few different ways to paper arches..

but as your painting it id suggest you paper the sides first, do them in two pieces from the top...overlap them by a couple of inches and splice through the two bits..then take away the excess.

Allow an extra 50mm on the pieces you put in on th sides..for waste...cut 25mm off where it meets the back wall...but on the front exteranl angle cut it tight with a blade.

Then paper the face wall inside the arch

Then paper the outside walls above and arond the arch...again cutting the paper tight..make sure the edge are well stuck down

Remember to wipe any traces of paste off the paper.

when its dry gently sand the corner with sine fine grace abrasive paper.

You could leave little tabs on the paper tucking them under the arch..but as your painting the all they will probably show.

Pleasure..its easier to do than write about actually..take your time, size the wall first..youl be fine.
