Hi I have exactly the same machine. Did you ever get any response that you could use to buy a new battery? (accu 2000 12 Volt 1,4 Ah 311646)

no he didn't. he also asked that question 18 months ago

his last post on here was in November 2007

please note forum rule 6

ROFLMAO!!!

Come on Breezer, its hardly a hijack!

He was actually aslking & hoping that the OP might reply.

Searching for and reusing old threads is actually required on many forums.

fraid it is ( a high jack)

6) Do not hi-jack posts. Hi-jacking is adding your query to somebody else's thread.

thak01 added his query to some one elses post. that is a hi-jack.

I understand why he did it, but as i pointed out the OP stopped posting in november 2007 so the probability of the OP replying is slim.

Had thak01 had of not hi jacked the post and just made a new post everything would have been ok, but thak01 cant do that now, since forum rule 5 says
5) Please do not duplicate your posts. This includes other forums.
so if thak01 asks again he / she will be breaking forum rules 5 & 6

Thats what makes this forum so good, its got some odd rules that other forums dont have, but they do seem to work.

so its a pointless having the search facility then?having peeps complain that the question has been asked countless times before, just keep posting taking up room on the forum, imo he is asking a question to the op aswell as everyone else.

you said that, i didn't

quite often you will find people will say i have seached but can not find the exact answer (or words to that effect)

also most just post with out searching.

i am only pointing out the fact that thak01 broke forum rule 6, and the probability of the OP replying to his question after some 9 months of no posts is slim to say the least. I also only pointed out that the question was aksed 18 months ago

not familiar with your aeg asbe drill , but i work in batteries. a 12 volt 1.4mah is a common battery.
It must be ni-cd at 1.4mah.
can you post a picture of it. I can get any shape or configuration,or if you wish bump it up to ni-mh to 2000 or better keeping your 12volt.

So give me a clue which rule I broke ?? Surely posting a link to somewhere they can get one of these batteries is valid ??
