Hi Ian I'm a newbie so tell me if I've messed up! I have a Hoover 1200 which doesn't spin in either the 500 or 1200 cycle but the drum rotates and the controller clicks through. The only thing that I can see is that the Crease Guard will not click on (button just springs out without lighting the indicator light). As I've never used this function I don't konw what it should do I assume that it reduces the speed of the spin but what to I dunno. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Joe
