  • Umm, many meters are we taking here? I assume I will have more travel time allowed due to my location?
    Cheers

    Hi Roo,
Read your post on the forum, thanks for getting back and adding your comments. I have being doing electrics in domestic properties and changed a couple of CU's. I start my training in about a week's time at Trafford Park. I am based up in Cumbria, so central Cumbria should be my usual area.
Was registered with NAPIT for electrics, checking my own work with my meter, filling out test sheets.
I don't want to burden anyone with work hassles, but its good to know whats coming!
I thought I read it was UU, but I must be wrong. I have just been signed up with UU for meter fitting, what do you know about this sort of work as I will be doing it all day long?
Roo, are you still with United Utilities fitting meter's. If so whats the crack, whats the job demand and is there a type of piece work involved??
    Cheers
    Mike
