Thanks to everyone for all the help I was offered re my Central Heating water pump.I have now replaced it complete with new valves on either side.I was lucky to obtain a pump from my friend and only spent £6 for a pair of new valves.The actual replacement took me about 1 hour.Had I called a plumber it would cost me over £100 in labour costs alone.
