I have e-mailed VEM group in Thurm asking about your motor. It was almost certainly a export model as it was labelled DDR / GDR ( German Demoncratic Republic ) which means it is likely to be a copy of a standard "western" motor of the time so likely to have an equivalent in the UK.

Are you looking for a complete motor and gear box or just the motor.
