Hi Have just fit a new Latch Gearbox for my Euro lock on my uPVC door, it all works ok , but the 2 point locking mechanism keeps sliding down with its own weight and bring out the locking points, it is just not staying up when opened, there is no resistance to hold it up , ! as per vid attached...

The JB would of been accesable before the conversion, is it allowed to make them now unaccesable , just a thought .!

Hi Have a lounge with 2 lights with one switch, need to make it one switch for each light, as there is a bit f a loft conversion, can't get at any junction boxes, wherever they may be that is, would it be accepted to try and run some cables along the ceiling ( cutting into it ), if I did that...

Pipes Clang ( don't know if it is the valve banging !) when the Boiler fires up first thing in a morning for HW !.

When the heating is shut down on a night and there is no power to the Actuator, the spring will pull the valve back to the HW position, that is the default setting ( HW prority ) !.

I don’t put the HW on, when the boiler fires up first thing in a morning the valve is already open for HW !

It happens ( The clanging ) first thing on a morning, when the boiler fires up for Hot water !

It seems the knocking is when the HW comes on, turned HW thermo down and CH started on the morning and no knocking !. Spike

Could I change over from DHW priority to CH priority, if so how can I do that ?. if the CH comes on first with the cylinder stat turned down, then after a hour, you turn the cylinder stat back up, there is less noise when the DHW kicks in ! Spike

Hi Thanks for your replies. 1: I don't think it will be from pipes expanding, it happens on a morning as soon has it fires up. 2: Pump is new ( 6 months old). 3: No gate valve on DHW Tank. 4: Yes, 22/15 Spike

Hi Problem : Pipes clanging when DHW calls for heat Scenario, vented system CH system, clanging of pipes in a morning ( only morning ) when system starts up, have bled the system, set pump to II , no noise but downstairs rads not getting hot, pump back to III , turned DHW thermo down to "O"...

Hi Can anyone tell me if I can replace the flush without removing the Toilet, there seems to be some connection near the bottom that looks as if it will twist to unlock, but also I don't know what type to get to replace if it will come off !. cheers Spike

OK let me say it now what is intend to be done , then that will be the end of this . Wanting to fit a Sunbed it has 40 tubes and the load will be 6700kw, I have a 80A supply, that supply comes from a 3 phase 80A delay RCD, feeding a 80A Main fuse box pictured , that will feed the 63A RCD / 45A...

No cable is concealed !, it is clamped along the inside top of the wall of the building , load is 6700kw which is around 30A , I would of thought 6mm2 would of been ok ! .
