Very difficult to price I'd say... It's a small job, but requires a bit of time.. Access needs organizing, even if you are paying for it.... Why dont you do it yourself?

Hi all, I've got a 2006 Izuzu Rodeo twincab that seemed a suitable vehicle for lugging stuff during major house renovation project, but... Double cabs are crap for shifting sheet material or timber of any length, especially as it has a canopy on the back! Do, I thought I'd fit some roof bars...

I've a dead socket, but if I flick my proximity pen against the cables that feed it I can OCCASIONALLY get it to flicker. It's freaky.

I think I will build the actual river out of stone, sand and cement, on top of pond liner... I don't actually want a pond on the bottom level... So perhaps the buried tank just needs to act as a sump. The bank is currently quite steep, but will have a digger on site soon so could change that...

Fitted a mixer... The steel bath is so old it's got square tap holes so had to knock up some washers...

Turned out the pressure was fine without a pump. Phew.

There is a header tank for the hw cylinder in the loft but surprisingly little pressure at ground floor taps...

Thanks. All being well well need to use the pump for about 6 months. Is a 'twin pump' "one that pumps both hot and cold? The cold is mains pressure so I assume this doesn't need pumping? Does this mean I just need a single pump?

I've no experience of shower pumps, and need to install one to enable a downstairs bathroom to be used while we renovate upstairs... The hot water cylinder is vented, and very svlixated on a first floor bedroom cupboard. The pressure at downstairs bathroom taps is insufficient for a shower...

I think it's some sort of glaze... Definitely not wood, or tar..... Well stuck on though and I'm pretty sure plaster wouldn't stick to it.... Maybe blue grit would?

This is requiring serious elbow grease with a sharp scraper to remove... It almost looks like a very very thin layer of timber, what is it?

Thanks for all input. I'm unsure as to best path forward and found a cheap cylinder do thought that might show me the way.... Currently have vented cylinder with two coils, one for a solid fuel Rayburn and the other am oil boiler... Moving to an unvented system, still with an oil boiler...
