    Stop Valve Caps

I don't like them anywhere! I always use the butterfly handle ones on hot and cold feeds now. Less likely to be butchered by someone using the wrong screwdriver (or butter knife!) in a panic. But not on heating!

    Stop Valve Caps

Ballofixs leak when actuated about 7 times out of 10. I always either remove or replace them. Only full bore isolators (lever) should be used on heating. Sometimes they can be made to stop with a bit of a technique when opening/closing them. Hard to describe but it involves changing the...

Central Heating Only Coping With Heating 3 or 4 radiators

Very simple first steps... Is boiler producing enough heat? Is that heat getting away from the boiler? If abv is passing return will get instantly warm back to boiler.

    No hot water

Sounds very much like air in the coil to me. Especially seeing as you've recently had a powerflush.

    External cold feed

I still can't visualise it! Never could see things in words when a sketch says a 1000! Can you pop a sketch up? Or, I can and see if we're thinking along the same lines. I'm thinking, cutting the 90 open has got to be big enough to fit the soldered pipe and the mitred insulation into it...

    External cold feed

Reckon that would look the best. But still thinking how you'd glue the rwp 90s back up in an easy way? One cut and prise it apart or cut in half and glue thin edges back together? Can you get a rwp Tee?

    External cold feed

Would that potentially heat the water inside the pipe?

    External cold feed

Cheers. Just thinking how I would handle 90s and a tee! Inside the ducting?

    External cold feed

It's not a domestic setup mate. It's a trust site for assisted living. Bit like a centerparcs for those needing 24hr care but some independence. The kitchens have been fully fitted and tiled etc, single storey building with vaulted ceilings so no loft space. Full patio and landscaping...

    External cold feed

Have to run new cold mains from plant room to kitchen for potable water at kitchen sink. Previously the kitchen was used as a utility room and only had "grey" water supply to cold at sink. Now been converted to kitchen and also another kitchen backing on to it and has to have potable water...

    Few big issues in shower

Workmanship is usually a 1 year guarantee from install. If it fails past that then something else is afoot.

Weather compensation on old single pipe system

Weather comp is, in essence, a method of referencing a temperature, that is external and is used to minimise over and under-shooting desired, internal target temperatures. As long as the curves are set correctly, it should provide better internal comfort temperatures as it will prevent...

Inline Water Filter - to Fridge... flows slow!

I've never had this problem with American fridges so, IMO it has to be with what what you've bought and are buying!
