RCCB kept tripping and then I discoved it was associated with one kitchen ring main

I had my kitchen refurbished well over a year ago and never had any problems with the ring main which had been installed at the time until a few days ago when the RCCB tripped. With it are associated a number of MCBs so i set about looking for which one of them was responsible, and it turned out...

    Glue for guttering

I have 4 very short length of guttering about a foot long which are attached at right angles to two main lengths of guttering at each end so that the rain water fall down the tiled roof rather than down a wall. leak in grp roofing

I have a 4x8 + single garage built 10 years ago and was persuaded to the GRP route for the roofing based on a 25 year guarantee. Unfortunately, when I had a new stove burner installed last Thursday, when the installer cut a hole in the roof to fit the flue he showed me the OSB offcut which...

Bespoke solid oak vs German factory made kitchen cabinets

thinking about it and as you already pointed out yourself , MFC cabinets probably make more sense as they are easier to clean, do not scratch and do not warp. I noticed that somer bespoke manufacturers such as The Wood Works use them as well but frame them and attach the doors with butt...

Bespoke solid oak vs German factory made kitchen cabinets

Do they have butt hinges attaching the doors to the frame therefore making them in frame or Blum hinges attached to the cabinet therefore making them in frame style?TBH I see little point in the latter as it's just about appearances

Bespoke solid oak vs German factory made kitchen cabinets

yup Shaker which I like .You are referring to in frame where the load posed by the door is met by the wood frame via two butt hinges? It just seems more sensible
