Thanks John Book just states to put in programming mode - there is no specific 'tamper off' for the system, only for the siren. So does the whole back of the panel have to come off for the battery change? Cheers

Hi all Is it possible to have two live sirens on this system? Out of interests there a maximum number of sirens, or are they just classed as standard devices i.e. total devices 20 max.? There is no cause for concern - I don't want to install 20 sirens!! Cheers

Hi, is the standard Yale PIR suitable to be positioned in a conservatory, or will the fluctuating heat or light trigger the sensor? If it is not suitable, would the 'pet friendly' PIR be better? I appreciate this is not the same as 'conservatory friendly'! Cheers

Turned off the under sink stopcock to isolate the cold water supply. Stopcock turned fully, and the kitchen sink tap cold water shut off, as expected. Strangely though, the other cold taps in the house, both up and downstairs, continued to run freely, with no hint of shutting off. Am I missing...

Thanks for replies. So is replacing the valve with a brass Fluidmaster, removing the flexi between the valve and the flapper unit altogether, and trimming down the overflow my best option here?

Thanks, any ideas if the interconnecting flexible pipe will need to stay when the valve is changed? I have no idea what it is for!

Yes John. Had a theory of drip feeding the system X400, and catching the moving particles in my TF1! Really just wanted to know if this is a viable technique, and if so what quantities of X400 to add.

So two gas engineers later, and neither has found an airlock or sludge in the system. Both agreed on one thing though - they do not know if the pump is failing. Wow!
