How do you harden the copper?
Would you think push fit is safe under floorboards
I would but I can't access the straight section with a blow torch. It's central heating pipe.
I need to unbend the end of a 15mm copper pipe to send it back under the floor boards. Was going to use a bending bar. Any thoughts
Yes but you still have to leave the notch or hole so any plates or brackets would need to be shaped around the alterations.
It's an 8 inch x 3 inch joist and want to notched about 15 mm from the top and 30 mm wide
I have gas central heating in the whole flat except the new bathroom which is only about 4 m2 and want to put a towel radiator in I've calculated...
The trouble with that is you have to chop the pipe up into sections to pass it through the holes. With notching the whole length can go down...
I'm running 15 mm copper pipe and need to go through 5 floor joists. Is there any limit on how many you can notch in a row?
