the water starts off red hot but then goes cold with fault flashing. The pressure is the same as it always has been. No the engineer has never left a job sheet nor filled in our log sheet we just received a phone call this morning to say he has ordered a new pump!

I have actually found the exchange plate that was previously taken off and the debris is definately coming out of the bottom not the top! The top is clear. Can anyone explain that one?

If that is the case how come the central heating is working fine, but we have no hot water? Also the system is brand new ,radiators and boiler, would there be much debris in the system anyway?

The problem is with the hot water not the central heating system. Fault code flashes up when hot water is switched on.

fed up of having my exchange plate replaced because of grit/sand/scale, goldfish!!! in the system. Been told to fit an inhibitor which will break down the scale etc. Will this help stop the plate blocking up. Only kidding about the gold fish by the way! :evil:
