Brickwall under window now exposed.
I have a feeling the outside is probably the same but it looks ok as its rendered.
So should i put 3 helibars...
There doesn't seem to be any external cracks on the the rendering.
Yes my plan is to hopefully dpc/batten and 50mm insulation inside the external...
Not sure how long cracks have not moved for as have only been in the property for 1 year.
In simple non builder terms what do you...
Brickwork now exposed.
Crack on wall to the right side seems to divert towards external wall on the left. Also exposed the bricks on the left...
Thanks Johnny, i will remove the plaster to have a better look.
Looking at this last photo the crack seems to go all the way up.
Please see photos
Thinking of converting garage to bedroom and started exposing brickwork to have a look at the cracks.
Brick wall on...
You do not need inserts when using copper pipe with Hep20 fittings
You tell him Softus
I am surprised he hasn't mentioned how much he charges and all that [fully guaranteed etc]
I agree with xman on this one
Guy was told to do a powerflush and that's what he did
That's what everyone would have done in reality world,...

Isn't there a way to see if the engine is damaged before getting the cam belt done?
That way i can decide whether to get it done or not
yes its a 1.2 paris Clio
the Rac guy said (about cost) it depends on whether it has damaged the engine :(
it already cost me £100 to tow it...
my Clio's cam belt has had it according to the RAC guy. just wondering (i know it needs to be looked at) what it might cost me to get it done...
Sort your leak out first, see where its coming from, and then put the pedestal back.
You are never going to repair it with pedestal in place
just silicone it because once the silicone has gone off it will support it
how big is the gap?
lift the pedestal up against the basin so its supporting it, then pack at the bottom and silicone it
in my opinion that is not the case, unless
what you said here is the other way round
how high is your u-turn vent pipe above f&e tank?
you know it should be min of 450ml above the cistern on fully pumped system
you need to clean the rads as there is sludge at bottom
of course it will, unless you have other leaks in the system
