    customer says they havn't but it could have been. Very hard water area but the stuff he left in a bowl was black and half a circle shape. Definatley from the heating side. I have had same problem before on older systems but i always do an 8 hour flush on an older systems and cleanser on new systems.

    could be a hole in dhw diaghram but i find you can't really clean the plate heat exchanger so may need a new one. Was they lots of black shale in it?

    what size expansion vessel did you fit? did you fit it on the return? and what pressure is the external expansion vessel charged too?

    sounds like an air lock. is all the system full and rads bled? what boiler do you have? and what is brand of pump?

    how much of your system is under concrete? It's never advisable to run copper under concrete as it rots and pressurising it will find all the little pin holes. Best advice it to repipe any under concrete pipework. 10mm plastic will work but i have always been a 22mm copper circs man and...

    suprima

    may be a daft one but have you checked polarity? and voltage difference. Had it before where there was 30v on the neutral which sent the pcb a little hellwire.

    only met the guy once but he made an impression. I have a mixed bag of tricks with commercial and being bonus direct but i often recomend your fixed price repair as it can work out alot cheaper in the long run sometimes.

    just make sure the compression joints that conect to the flow and return don't weep as they are still prone to rotting through the casing.

    only things that can cause E133 are 1) electrode spark gap 2) ignitor unit 3) fan venturi tube kinked 4) gas valve I find every 12 months the electrode needs the spark gap adjusting

    electrodes needs bending back. Spark gap is prone to reduce with heat. No parts needed but a gsr to do it
