Thanks for the reply, I will try it tomorrow. I wonder why I have been told that you can't set on CH without HW, I seem to remember setting CH to on would pull the HW on. Could that have been a limitation of the Glowworm timer?

Quick update... Turned the thermostat on the immersion heater down, noticed the port valve moved and the heating has been running again. I noticed yesterday that the boiler pressure seemed higher than normal, it's a little lower now and wonder if the 3 port valve is sticking causing flow issues.

Looking into the conversion of our 10 degree tiled extension roof to GRP. Is it possible to leave the Velux (I believe they should be at least at 15 degrees) when the GRP is fitted? Not sure if these can trimmed up to be waterproof. Thanks in advance.
