The panel appears to be showing nothing out of the ordinary - perhaps it is telling me it needs a service!

I suspected that the smoke detectors were the cause at first but the beeps are definitely coming from the alarm control panel!

Hi, I curently have an Optima Alarm system which was fitted 2 years ago. Thee are 6 PIR's which are fairly old that I am hoping to replace myself. Is this straight forward wiring job and if not are there any things that I should do and in what sequence. Many thanks Phil :?

Hi, It is rather a long story which I wont bore you all with but I have had to render a section of wall. This stopped just above the chemical dpc which is above some blue bricks. I was hoping to paint the render one colour (white) and the dpc and blue bricks another colour - probably black...

Can I paint over blue engineering bricks (waterproof) without comprising their damp-proofing effect and if so what type of paint can I use ? :?

How long do you need to wait before you can paint a newly rendered wall ? Thanks
