More than likely your annual service engineer might have fooked somert up...better off not getting an anal service done, especially on a 3 year old boiler....The engineer should have checked for dirty water at service at a minimum. It dont just get dirty by magic....he's probably trying to find...

Only 2 wires to extend you could move it ya self if you had to.

Basically they do fak all, 1st couple of years they favour just sticking their probes in the flu, and cleaning the condensate trap, after that they may or may not delv into your conbustion chamber (if they do be prepeared for bent/broken fins, cig dimps and old holbourn wrappers left in there)...

I think it may but not being an engineer i dont have the appropriate equipment to test CO2%. So have to guess by plume output/density and dirty flue water accumulation.. :cry:

I not an engineer but just by reading the supplied manual I can put my boiler in chimney sweep mode??? not rocket science,, just know how to read:rolleyes:. I can also range rate it, and other stuff the manual says I can do. But I only play with what I know about. As for the Ops question...

Use the solvent stuff mate...The nasty flue water might ruin the push fit seals.... And you'll all die if the nasty flue water touches you...
