The latest trend is to turn dashing back to bricks using lime based finish like Decopierre or Blue FLag Base coat, then 2 coats 1st is the pointing color, 2nd the brick and then grooved out. Youtube it.

Try e-bay and search kingspan seconds, same stuff, may be marked or have creases, but about half price.
